Our vision is to make music education accessible to children and young people in the remote and underserved communities of Himachal Pradesh, especially in the Himalayan villages where opportunities for creative and productive activities are limited.
We believe music is more than entertainment—it is a powerful way to develop the mind, build confidence, improve mental and physical well-being, and bring people together. Through music schools and community programs, we aim to give children and youth a positive direction, helping them discover their creativity and potential.
At the same time, Urooj Music Foundation envisions a future where music and environmental awareness go hand in hand. We want to encourage communities to respect, protect, and care for the natural environment of the Himalayas.
Our goal is to create healthy, creative, environmentally conscious, and connected communities, where every child and young person has the opportunity to learn, express themselves, and find their own Urooj—their rise, growth, and purpose.
